Happy Africa Liberation Day

Fellow Junubeen,

Our blessed land is crisscrossed by the Nile River and the majority of its tributaries. We have the Sudd, the largest wetland in Africa which is responsible for the greenbelt. It extends from Western Equatoria State to Central Equatoria State. There is plenty of water for irrigation across the country. We do not need to wait for the rains in a time of global climate change.

Compatriots,

In addition to this gift from Nature, we have tea in Upper Talanga, we have Arabica Coffee in Yei River, we can develop rice schemes in Mading Aweil, sugar in Mangala and wheat in Renk. There is honey and groundnuts in Lakes State. We can develop cooking oil industries from all the sim sim and lalob in the various counties in our land. The Republic of South Sudan has immense national wealth and can feed all Junubeen. Let us leave micro politics, the cursed petroleum, and gold rush madness to the pseudo tycoons in our land – it is not everything!

Compatriots,

We have the potential not only to feed ourselves but we can become the breadbasket of East Africa and the Middle East.

Good afternoon, Junubeen citizens -hunger must be destroyed!

Happy Afrika Liberation Day!

I recognize the great sacrifice you are making as citizens to the cause of realizing peace and prosperity for our civil population. However, three years have now elapsed since the signing of the Revitalized Agreement and one year since the formation of the unity government.
