Fellow South Sudanese,

The sinister plan by the dark forces in our land to use the Kit Gwang Declaration in their protracted regime change agenda has failed. It is not true that the disarming of Gen. Gatwec forces marks the end of the Kit Gwang Declaration -it is in fact the beginning. Do not believe the propaganda of the intellectual mercenaries of the NPTC coalition. The truth is, there was an attempt by some political thugs in Juba and some in Diaspora, to confuse General Gatwec Dual to wage a remote controlled war.

Compatriots,

The Kit Gwang Declaration was a split in the SPLM/SPLA (IO), it was never a new movement. This was even recognised by the IGAD Council of Ministers, who told the IO to, "put their house in order". The army which was abandoned in the bush by the politicians, deposed Riek Machar and the politicians in the IO, including myself. We accepted this and we still supported the principles of the KitGwang Declaration -which did not want politicians. As we in the NCSS are not looking for political jobs, we decided to continue to help those Generals who are for peace. The Moderators of the NCSS even went to Juba in November 2021 with a proposal on how to bring KitGwang Generals -left out by Riek Machar- on board the peace process. The NCSS found the Generals of KitGwang already devided. Some wanted to go to war and others were for a peace which would include them, after being abandoned in the bush by the politicians. The split in KitGwang was clear from day one. Civilian war mongers had already infiltrated the system, causing confusion. This is not news.

Compatriots,

The NCSS will not support the protracted regime change agenda of the dark forces in our land. We stand with those who are for peace. We call on those who want to use other peoples children to go die, in a half backed attempt to wage war on the state, to reconsider their position and accept peace. It is the only way forward. The war effort was lost long ago, since 2015. It is now time to wage peace.
